YOUR SAFETY COMES FIRST
SAFETY STANDARDS
CHARTERx is committed to providing the safest travel solutions for our clients to utilize. Our proactive approach in maintaining a high safety standard starts with vetting all carriers that provide options for our charter requests. There are different types of certificates carriers can hold; however, aircraft we source for on-demand air charters must hold Part 135 or Part 121 Air Carrier Certificates and comply with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations.
Part 121 Air Carrier Certificates – This will mostly be the large regional and major carriers operating domestic, international, supplemental, and cargo charters. This certificate also contains rules that refer to scheduled service as well as enhanced pilot and crew regulations. Given the increased passenger carrying capacity afforded by Part 121 carriers, they are are under constant scrutiny from the FAA and is considered the gold standard for aviation safety around the world.
Part 135 Air Carrier Certificates – These carriers must hold ARGUS or Wyvern safety ratings to be contracted through CHARTERx . The more common of the two is ARGUS and their audit reviews the operator’s maintenance records, flight history, insurance coverage, frequency of aircraft inspections, and a program’s ability to meet or exceed FAA standards. ARGUS also offers a TripCHEQ which is a comprehensive analysis of the carrier and provides passengers with up-to-date information.
CHARTERx is experienced in procuring and coordinating operations for both Part 135 and Part 121 charters. We are available 24/7 to provide you with the most current rates and up-to-date schedules for your air charter needs.
